Nudge

Compliance software isn't exactly a warm experience. Nudge was my solution to that. I designed this brand character for Galactic Advisors to guide users through their security journey (a platform that functioned like TurboTax for cybersecurity) walking companies step by step through policies and procedures until they were fully compliant with their industry's regulations, whether that was HIPAA, FTC Safeguards, or others. Think Microsoft's Clippy, but one people actually liked. I owned Nudge from initial concept through character system, animation, and print integration. He became a genuine part of the brand — popular enough with partners that he ended up on the company and partner merchandise.

I built this animation to introduce Nudge's personality right at the door — setting the tone that this compliance tool was going to feel different from everything else in the category.

Nudge integrated into a printed onboarding and educational manual designed to support users throughout their cybersecurity journey. This application showcased how the character system could extend beyond digital experiences into physical brand materials, helping make dense technical content feel like something a real person put together for you.
